OUR MISSION

We are passionate about the use of ‘experiential learning’ to develop leaders and teams. Outdoor training, when it is done well, is the best way of examining the fundamental structure and dynamics of leadership, and one of the best ways of developing individual leadership skills and of successfully building team cohesiveness.

Sea Change focuses on serious behavioural learning, by combining best practice experiential learning techniques with sailing, to provide a powerful tool for changing attitudes and behaviour.

Our programmes are different. A series of interlocking business focused projects reproduce similar demands, pressures and challenges faced by everyone at work, but free from the influence of organisational culture, status and function.

Unlike more traditional ‘outdoor’ training programmes, the yacht based projects are ‘real’ situations that do not require role playing for their achievement, and the use of business focused projects differentiates us from other organisations providing development programmes afloat.

Excellent facilitation is the critical criterion for an effective learning experience. Our Tutors are experienced business people, often currently working in senior management positions within industry and commerce. They not only have the personal skills and qualities to enable teams to learn and develop, but have the knowledge of current business practice to connect the learning with our clients’ commercial objectives.

Sea Change has a track record of delivering high quality programmes that make a difference and that satisfy pre-determined, measurable, behavioural and performance criteria agreed with our clients.
